Vault

The Vault is where Vibespace handles API keys, tokens, passwords, and other secrets that agents may need while working.

When you will use it

Most of the time, you will only notice the Vault when an agent asks for a secret it does not already have.

Common examples:

• an API key for a third-party service
• a token for a developer tool
• credentials needed to connect to a platform

What the flow feels like

1. An agent asks for the secret it needs.
2. Vibespace shows you the request.
3. You paste the value.
4. The agent can continue.

The point is simple: you stay in control of sensitive information while still letting agents do useful work.

Good habits

• only share the secrets an agent actually needs
• name secrets clearly so you can recognize them later
• remove old secrets when they are no longer useful

If a secret prompt shows up unexpectedly

Pause and read the request before pasting anything. If the agent does not need that key to finish the current task, do not hand it over automatically.
